On the initial page of this story, we discussed the vaunted Texas A&M scoring defense. However, when you dig deeper into those numbers, there is a clear path for Arkansas to move the football against the Aggies.

Texas A&M is absolutely putting opposing passing games in jail. They have talent and speed in the secondary and only allow 147.3 passing yards per game.

However, they are giving up four yards per carry and 154 total yards on the ground. If the Aggies are excited to exploit the Arkansas secondary, the Hogs should be just as excited about the opportunities A&M’s rush defense should provide.

The guy who should be most excited is Rocket Sanders.

Sanders is averaging nearly seven yards per carry through three games. When you combine his 6’2″, 227-pound frame with his speed, you have a difficult player for corners and safeties to bring down. If Sanders can get into the second level of the Aggie defense, he could feast all day today.

Briles should look to get him the ball early and often this evening. Test the A&M rush defense. Make them prove they can ground the Rocket.

If they aren’t up to the task, the Hogs should come away with a win.
