Arkansas football player to watch #3: Myles Slusher
We had the right guy on the list last week, but we were just a week early. Despite some sources sharing that Slusher would play against Missouri State, he was held out. Reports have him on track to return today against A&M.
And, boy, does Arkansas football need him back on the field.
You know that expression, “What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?” Unfortunately, the Arkansas secondary versus the Texas A&M passing game is the opposite. Arkansas football is giving up over 350 passing yards per game, while the Aggies only throw for 208 yards weekly.
Something has got to give. Either the Razorback secondary will hold an offense under 300 yards passing, or the Texas A&M passing game will finally get on track through the air.
Having Slusher play can only benefit the Hogs. My money is on the secondary to bounce back if Slusher plays well.
