Razorbacks NCAA March Madness seed, bracket and opponent revealed
The Arkansas Basketball team is going dancing and have officially received their seeding, opponents and bracket information for the upcoming NCAA Men’s March Madness tournament.
The March Madness tournament is the annual tournament the NCAA uses to determine the national champion in college basketball.
The Razorbacks are coming off a season in which they finished 25-8, tying last seasons win total— a year in which they reached the Elite 8 round of the tournament.
This year, Arkansas will have a difficult path in advancing to the tournament as they learned on March 13 they will be competing in the ultra-competitive West Region.
The Arkansas Basketball team enters March Madness as a No. 4 seed
The Razorbacks will be a No. 4 seed in the 2022 March Madness bracket, a slight step-back from being a No. 3 seed in last year’s tournament. Overall, they are ranked as the sixteenth-best team in the field of 68.
Remember, this tournament is win or go home. A single loss will officially end the season for Head Coach Eric Musselman and the Hogs.

Arkansas Razorbacks Round 1 March Madness
Game: No. 4 Arkansas Razorbacks (25-8) vs No. 13 Vermont Catamounts (28-5)
Date: March 17, 2022
Location: Buffalo, New York at KeyBank Center
Affiliations: Arkansas is in the SEC, Vermont is in the America East
If the Razorbacks are successful in defeating the Vermont Catamounts, they will play the winner of No. 5 UConn vs No. 12 New Mexico State on March 19, 2022.
If the Razorbacks win both of those games they will play the winner of No. 1 Gonzaga vs No. 16 Georgia State VS No. 8 Boise State vs No. 9 Memphis.
That will like result in the Hogs playing against the No. 1 overall seed Gonzaga in the Sweet Sixteen.
It’s March Madness and anything can happen, so keep an eye on the Razorbacks and see if they can match or surpass last year’s finish.
