Former Arkansas Basketball player Dusty Hannahs has been in Australia this season competing with the Adelaide 36ers in the National Basketball League.

He recently shared a scene-stealing commercial in which he appears in for an Australian company called Comwire IT.

A Comwire employee is seen in the opening moments of the ad saying they are serious about helping their clients, but still like to have a little fun.

The ad cuts to another Comwire employee who is taking a break by playing a game of trashketball. His shots are missing terribly.

Dusty Hannahs walks by in full 36ers gear and makes a shot on his first try in front of the employee. Hannahs looks at the employee after effortlessly nailing the shot and says, “It’s all in the wrist, mate.”

Hannahs nails the scene and some of his southern drawl slips into his line making the commercial that much more authentic.

How is former Arkansas Basketball player Dusty Hannahs doing in Australia?

After playing in the NBA, the NBA Summer League and the NBA’s G-League, Hannah made the decision to take his talents overseas to play professional basketball in Australia.

The National Basketball League is considered to be one of the premiere leagues in the world not named the NBA.

Hannahs, 28, is averaging 14.2 ppg for the 36ers this season, which is the second most on the team. He’s playing great basketball and is likely trying to cull together enough experience and playing time to show an NBA team that he has what it takes to compete in the NBA.
