Arkansas Basketball: 3 reasons why the Razorbacks will pull off the upset vs. No. 1 Auburn
A perfect storm is brewing for the Hogs to defeat Auburn
The Razorbacks are playing better than just about anyone in the SEC right now, winning eight consecutive games.
Auburn has had a couple of recent scares, defeating Missouri by just one point Jan. 25. The Tigers escaped Georgia with a two-point win Feb. 5.
With guys like Jaylin Williams and Stanley Umude stepping up during the winning streak, Arkansas fans should be very optimistic tonight when the Hogs and Tigers tip-off.
Williams is the second-leading rebounder in the SEC (9.2 rpg) and frequently puts his body on the line to draw charges against the opposing team, multiple times per game.
Umude is coming off a game in which he dropped 31 against Georgia Feb. 2, giving him even more confidence heading into this pivotal SEC-West match-up vs Auburn.
Arkansas is looking for it’s first win over a No. 1 team since 1984 and their ninth-consecutive win of the season.
The Hogs and the Tigers tip-off Feb. 8 at 6 pm CT on ESPN2.
