JD Notae, an SEC POTY candidate, instantly gives the Hogs a chance

The SEC’s leading scorer and top swiper plays for the Razorbacks, which means— at minimum— Arkansas has a chance to be competitive against the top team in college basketball.

Notae has been playing fantastic basketball during his senior campaign. He leads the Southeastern Conference with 18.7 ppg and 2.4 steals per game.

If Notae comes out swinging and has a good shooting night, Auburn better watch out. When he’s connecting from beyond the arc, he’s extremely difficult to slow down. He is more than capable of erupting for 30+ points.

How Notae performs against the top team in the country will also give NBA scouts a good indication of where he might expect to be drafted in the June NBA Draft, should he choose to pursue that path.
