The Arkansas Basketball team (14-5) travels to Oxford, Miss. to take on the struggling Ole Miss Rebels (10-9) in a late-January SEC basketball match-up.

The Razorbacks are rolling, winners of four consecutive games, a streak that started after a Jan. 8 loss at Texas A&M.

While the Arkansas Basketball team is in firm control of the all-time series record between the two teams (50-33), Ole Miss is 20-9 against the Razorbacks in games played in Oxford.

Arkansas Basketball team will rely on SEC Player of the Week Jaylin Williams

The Razorbacks will have the SEC Player of the Week at their disposal against the Rebels, Jaylin Williams.

The sophomore has produced a double-double in four of the past five games, serving as an instrumental piece in the current four-game winning streak.

He’s currently averaging 14.2 ppg, 10.7 rpg, 2.2 assists and 3 steals during the four-game winning streak.

JD Notae, the SEC’s leading scorer with 18.6 ppg, will have a favorable match-up against Ole Miss— a team that’s given up 71.4 ppg during the past five games.

Ole Miss has a deep roster, occasionally going as much as 10-deep with players seeing game action. The Razorbacks are going to have to remain diligent and stick to the game plan.

The Razorbacks are playing great basketball right now. The team’s confidence is at an all-time high and things are finally starting to click on a team that’s relying heavily on transfer players to lead the team.

Three of the team’s top scorers this season are all in their first season with the Hogs, having played with other college teams last season.

It’s taken some time for them to build chemistry, but it looks like these Razorbacks are rolling.
