The Arkansas Football team has landed yet another top-tier talent from the transfer portal, giving Sam Pittman and the Razorbacks another weapon to compete in the stacked SEC West.
Georgia defensive back Latavious Brini has announced that he’s transferring to Arkansas to play for the Razorbacks in his fifth and final year of eligibility.
The Hogs are going to be an absolute force to be reckoned with next season, with Brini bringing with him CFB National Championship experience. While he didn’t play in the game, he knows what it takes to get there.

Latavious Brini was a three-star player out of high school in Florida when he was recruited by the Georgia Bulldogs in the Class of 2017.
Brini was a solid contributor for the National Champion Georgia Bulldogs this past season. He recorded 23 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles and 8 pass deflections in 2021.
Rick David of THV11 Hog Zone pointed out that the Hogs have gotten bigger and better at the defensive back position to better compete with Alabama and Georgia wide outs.
The Hogs lost Joe Foucha and Greg Brooks, Jr. to transfer and Montaric Brown to the NFL Draft. Having Brini transfer to Arkansas is a nice physical upgrade for the Hogs’ secondary.
Brini is joined by LSU transfer Dwight McGlothern to complete the the retooled defensive backfield.
Defensive Coordinator Barry Odom is surely elated that he’ll have some extremely talented players ready to plug-in and take over an already solid defense.
The Razorbacks’ defense will likely have high expectations next season, despite the heavy turnover in players.
The Razorbacks will kick off the new season Sept. 3 at home against 2021 CFB Playoff Semi-Finalist Cincinnati at home.
