Bumper Pool has landed a Name, Image and Likeness deal with a prestigious financial firm, raising his profile even further among Arkansas Football fans.

The fifth-year senior is returning for one more season with the Razorbacks and will be making some money along the way.

It’s probably not Bryce Young-level money, but Pool is probably getting compensated very nicely in his new NIL deal.

Pool has partnered up with an Insurance firm that claims to be “one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerages in the Mid-South,” according to their website.

It’s not immediately clear how Stephens will be using Pool’s name or likeness, but it could feature anything from billboards to television spots to social media posts.

The Lucas, Texas native finished third among all SEC players in total tackles this past season with 125. He has been a phenomenal anchor in Barry Odom’s defense and the Hogs are lucky to have him back for one more season.

Here’s what Stephens Insurance and Pool had to say about the deal, according to a press release.

“Bumper’s contributions to the University of Arkansas football program have been significant,” said Stephens Insurance President and Chief Executive Officer Miles Stephens. “His and his teammates’ commitment to turning around the program is something all of us at Stephens Insurance admire. We are excited to partner with Bumper.”

The responsibility I have to the state, University and to my teammates to continue the rebuilding of the program and to reinforce the standards that have been set forth is not one I take lightly. To have a partner like Stephens Insurance on my side just adds to the excitement I have going into the 2022 season.”
