The Arkansas Basketball team (11-5) travels to Baton Rouge to face the No. 12 LSU Tigers (15-1) in what will be the toughest match-up so far this season for the Razorbacks.

The Tigers have only lost one game this season and that was to No. 11 Auburn on the road by 15 points. They have managed to earn wins against No. 16 Kentucky and No. 18 Tennessee in the past 10 days.

Arkansas is coming off a win against Missouri— the team’s first win since Dec. 21, 2021. Let’s take a look at what to expect between Arkansas vs LSU.

Arkansas Razorbacks vs LSU Tigers Odds: Spread, Over/Under

Spread

Arkansas +6.5 (-110)

LSU -6.4 (-110)

The Hogs enter the game as 7-point underdogs, which seems like a generous line considering the Hogs’ body of work in the SEC this season and LSU being ranked in the top half of the college basketball rankings.

Arkansas vs LSU Prediction Today

This is going to be a very difficult test for Arkansas, not just because they will be facing a ranked conference opponent on the road, but they’ll be doing so without Head Coach Eric Musselman.

Muss is sidelined while he recovers from shoulder surgery. Assistant Keith Smart is the interim coach and will lead the Hogs in this game at LSU.

Expect the Razorbacks to struggle to score against one of the best defensive teams in the country. LSU averages 12.1 steals per game and holds their opponents to an average of 56.5 points per game.

Arkansas is going to need to have a really good shooting performance against LSU, particularly from three for a chance to win this game. That’s not something they’ve proven they can do.

Expect the Hogs to lose this one and LSU to cover the spread.

Prediction: Razorbacks 70, Tigers 77
