Former Arkansas Basketball player and NBA Champion with the Milwaukee Bucks has launched his own fan vote campaign to get himself to the 2022 NBA All-Star Game.

The Little Rock, Ark. native is in his sixth season in the NBA and currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

The forward has been a big part of the Bucks’ success this season, serving as a great sidekick to one of the best players in the NBA, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

How to send former Arkansas Basketball player Bobby Portis to the 2022 NBA All-Star Game

Portis is having a career-best season so far. He’s averaging 15.8 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 blocks per game in 28.2 minutes per game.

Portis recently tweeted out a graphic letting fans know that he’s making a push to be named an all-star this season.

The big guy is embracing his Bobby “POTUS” persona that he embraced after visiting the White House a few months ago. POTUS, if you didn’t know, stands for President Of The United States, which pairs nicely with his work ethic and passion for the game.

If you want to vote for the former Razorback, you can retweet the above tweet to cast a vote. You can also vote at NBA.com/all-star to cast your vote.

If he’s named to the 2022 All-Star Game, Portis would be the first Razorback since Joe Johnson represented the Brooklyn Nets in the 2014 All-Star Game.

You can vote for five players from the Eastern Conference and five players from the Western Conference.

The all-star votes are weighted. The fans account for 50% of the vote, while NBA coaches and NBA players account for 25% of the vote each.
