A win over the Hogs will give Penn State their third ranked win of the season

Penn State, like Arkansas, has been a victim of a brutal schedule in one of the toughest conferences in college football.

Penn State earned wins over No. 12 Wisconsin and No. 22 Auburn early in the 2021 season. They came close in plenty of other games this season, too.

A three-point loss to No.3 Iowa on the road, a four-point loss at home to No. 6 Michigan and a three-point loss on the road to No. 12 Michigan State on the road added some frustration to the season for Penn State.

A win over No. 21 Arkansas would smooth over some of those close losses.

The Arkansas Football team needs to force Penn State to run the ball

Penn State was No. 13 out of 14 teams in the Big Ten Conference in rushing yards per game. They are a team that would much rather beat you with the pass.

The Nittany Lions averaged a total of 106.4 rushing yards per game. They are led by running back Keyvone Lee, a sophomore out of Saint Petersburg, Florida. On 104 attempts this season, he recorded 495 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

Put another way, he’d be the fifth leading rusher on the Razorbacks.
