Arkansas Football: Hogs named one of best college fanbases for 2021

The Arkansas Football team has been named one of the top fanbases in college football from the 2021 season.

Saturday Blitz has put together a list of the Top 25 teams around the country and ranked them by multiple metrics such as attendance, social media following, atmosphere and more.

We all know how passionate the Razorback fan base is, but it’s always nice to get some third-party validation.

Here’s where the Arkansas Football fan base ranks for the 2021 season

Saturday Blitz ranks Arkansas as having the No. 24 ranked fan base this season, based on a number of factors.

First and foremost, Saturday Blitz points out that Arkansas had the second-highest attendance increase in the FBS this season.

The site mentions that the Hogs increased attendance by 35% from last year, which is phenomenal. It make sense, the team is abuzz after the Hogs finished the regular season 8-3.

Fans are feeling year-over-year optimism for the first time in a long time, probably since the Bobby Petrino era.

With a consistent top-tier recruiting class and more wins over ranked teams, fans are going to continue to come out in droves to support Sam Pittman and these players.

And, with the Razorbacks first bowl game in half a decade coming up in a matter of days, the fan base is extremely excited. The excited fan base, coupled with on-field success is a good indicator of why Pittman and his agent are pursing a lucrative contract extension.

The Razorbacks are preparing to take on Penn State from the Big Ten Conference in the Outback Bowl. The game is set to take place Jan. 1 at 11 AM ET on ESPN2.
