Jan. 12, Razorbacks vs Missouri Tigers

Mizzou’s 67.5 points they score per game on average, is the fewest in the entire conference. The Hogs will love to get in a shootout with the Tigers.

The Hogs are talented enough to outscore teams on a given night and that very well may be what happens when the Hogs welcome Mizzou (6-6) to Bud Walton Arena in mid-January.

The Razorbacks should be able to win this one fairly easily at home.

Jan. 15, Arkansas Basketball at No. 17 LSU Tigers

This will be one of the toughest games on the conference slate all season, especially being a road game.

The Hogs will be facing an LSU team that is very talented and balanced. They have multiple players who rank inside the top five in the conference in multiple statistical categories.

Tari Eason is top five in points per game (16.1 ppg), Xavier Pinson is top five in assists per game (4.7), Darius Days in rebounding (8.5 rpg) and Eason (2.2 steals per game) and Eric Gaines (2.0 spg).

LSU will be incredibly difficult to beat and until we can see the Hogs shore up their three point shooting, I don’t see a path for the Razorbacks getting their first ranked win of the season.
