The Arkansas Football team is gearing up to begin their Outback Bowl 2022 festivities. After weeks of practice, watching film and preparing for Penn State, it’s almost time to play some football.
We have a breakdown of all the activities the Razorbacks will be participating in leading up to their first bowl game in half-a-decade.
What will the Arkansas Football team be doing before the Outback Bowl game?
According to the official bowl game website, the Hogs will be busy in the days leading up to the bowl game.
Dec 26: Team Arrivals
The Razorbacks will land in Tampa the day after Christmas. They’ll check in to their hotel and start getting familiar with the area.
Dec 27: Player’s Night at Splitsville
The Hogs will be headed to a luxury bowling alley to have some fun and interact with fans at a Splitsville in Tampa.
Dec 28: Outback Bowl Spouses Luncheon
The wives of the Arkansas coaching staff will be on hand to participate in a lunch. It’s by invitation only and not open to the public.
Dec 29: Busch Gardens Team Outing
The Hogs are headed out to the Busch— Gardens, that is. The team will have a chance to let loose, have some fun and take in a day of fun at the famous Busch Gardens in Tampa.
Dec 30: Clearwater Beach Day
What kind of trip to Tampa would it be without spending some time on the beautiful beaches? The official event listing says there will be live music, skydivers, a tug-of-war game plus several other contests and beach games.
Dec 31: Battle of the Bands at Busch Gardens
The Arkansas band and the Penn State will meet at Busch Gardens for a contents of ultimate bragging rights.
Dec 31: New Year’s Eve Parade
It’s the night before game day will culminate in a New Year’s Eve parade. Both marching bands will be on hand, plus the cheerleaders for the ultimate pep rally.
Jan 1: Outback Bowl 2022
The week of events will of course, culminate in the Hogs taking on Penn State in the Outback Bowl 2022.
