No 2. The Arkansas Basketball team must take better care of the ball

The Hogs are turning the ball over way too much for a team that will likely be ranked in the Top 10 in the country. They are recording 10.4 turnovers per game, which needs to be reduced.

The Hogs’ opponents are accumulating 4.4 steals per game which is 16th in the nation.

Arkansas has six players that are averaging at least 1.0 turnovers per game. These guys have to take better care of the basketball.

It’s a concerning note, especially since the Razorbacks have been playing opponents who are perceived as being nowhere near the level of Arkansas.

The Hogs will face two of the biggest teams in Arkansas this week who will be playing with added enthusiasm to try and dethrone the state’s overwhelming favorite college team.

The Razorbacks will face some of the toughest pressure they’ve seen so far this year from Central Arkansas and UA-Little Rock this week at Bud Walton Arena.

If they are too careless with the ball, they could be in danger of being upset by these smaller schools.
