We are just days away from finding out where the Arkansas Football team could be headed in their first bowl game appearance since 2016.

The Razorbacks finished the regular season with a record of 8-4, a big improvement from where the team was at during the Chad Morris era.

Here’s the latest on what we’re hearing about which bowl game the Razorbacks could be headed to and who they could be matched up against.

Outback Bowl: Arkansas Razorbacks vs Wisconsin Badgers

247 Sports projects the Hogs to head down to Tampa and play in the Outback bowl against the Wisconsin Badgers.

The Hogs and the Badgers have met only twice— once in 1912 and again nearly 100 years later in 2007.

The most recent meeting between these teams in 2007 was actually at the Capital One Bowl. The Razorbacks lost that meeting 14-17.

Some interesting notes about their last meeting: the Badgers were led by Head Coach Bret Bielema, who would later go on to coach Arkansas from 2013-2017. The Hogs were led by Houston Nutt.

A 2021 matchup between the two teams would be exciting and a pound-it-out game heavy on the run.
