Arkansas Football: Missouri could roast Hogs if not approached seriously
The Razorbacks defense will be tested against Missouri’s QB Connor Bazleak
Last season, Bazleak had one of his best throwing games of the season, torching the Hogs for 380 yards in last season’s meeting. He completed 32 of 49 passes but did not record a touchdown or interception.
Bazleak has had a better season, statistically speaking, already surpassing his total yardage and touchdowns thrown with one game remaining.
The sophomore has struggled with accuracy at times, but gets the job done if he’s allowed enough time behind his porous offensive line.
Missouri allowed their quarterback to be sacked five times against Florida.
Will the Hogs be able to penetrate the gaps and get to Bazleak to force him to make quick/bad throws?
If he does Arkansas cornerback Montaric Brown will be there to snag a pick, he’s second among all defenders in the SEC with four interceptions this season so far. He’d love to add to his total against Missouri.
The Arkansas Razorbacks will take on Missouri in the Battle Line Rivalry game Nov. 26 at 2:30 PM CT on CBS.
