No 3. The SEC officiating crew exhibited extreme bias against the Arkansas football team

For Arkansas fans, this was a very frustrating game to watch. The officiating crew seemed to make several erroneous calls during the game.

At around the 3:50 mark late in the second quarter, Jefferson launched a huge 40-yard pass to Warren Thompson that got over the goal line.

However, despite the broadcasting crew and rules expert affirming the touchdown play, the on-field officiating crew overturned the call and said Thompson was down at the 1-yard line.

On the very next play, from the one-yard line, running back Dominique Johnson powered the ball fairly easily into the end zone.

The SEC crew did not declare a touchdown on the play, instead going to the replay to overturn the call to a touchdown.

The officiating was so poor that Wright’s BBQ in northwest Arkansas declared that all SEC officials are banned from their restaurant until further notice.
