No 2. KJ Jefferson put the team on his back

He’s looked like Superman at times this year and today he looked like Hercules. Jefferson used is size and power to his advantage against Alabama.

The big man has the physical tools to play against any defender and any defense. Jefferson finished with 22 for 30 passing and 326 yards yards and 3 touchdowns. He also recorded 13 carries for 22 yards.

Jefferson’s streak of four games without an interception was extended to five consecutive games— an incredible feat for a young quarterback. He’s been increasingly more accurate throwing the ball and largely minimizing risky passes.

Jefferson put the team on his back and did his best to try and get the team over giant mountain that is Alabama.

You couldn’t ask for a much better performance that what Jefferson gave us against Alabama. The fact that he was able to do more than just hang with one of the premiere defenses in the country was extremely encouraging.
