The Arkansas football team just achieved something that’s never been done before in program history— achieve their highest ever CFB Playoff Ranking

The good times keep rolling for the Arkansas football team, as they have continue to break records and achieve new heights every few weeks it seems like.

Razorbacks Head Coach Sam Pittman is sitting somewhere grinning ear-to-ear about the current state of his Hogs.

The latest College Football Playoff Rankings have been revealed and the Razorbacks are ranked No. 21.

The Top-4 teams are the only teams that are invited to compete for the College Football National Championship game.

While the Razorbacks are squarely outside the top-4, their current ranking is something worth celebrating.

Prior to this ranking, the highest the team was ever ranking in the history of the College Football Playoff Rankings was No. 25.

This is also the first time Arkansas has appeared in the College Football Playoff rankings for consecutive weeks.

The Hogs still have some opportunities to work the way up and improve their overall ranking. A win at Alabama would be one way to take a massive leap up the rankings.

Most college football fans would love to see the Hogs upset the Crimson Tide which would (likely) knock them out of playoff contention.

The Hogs, even with a win over Bama and Missouri, would unlikely be enough to rocket them into the Top-4. However, a trip to a very good bowl game is likely on the table.

We’ve got some of the latest bowl game projections and possible opponents the Hogs could meet after winning the Battle for the Golden Boot.
