Iowa State vs Arkansas football, Texas Bowl

Yahoo Sports has projected the Hogs to travel to Texas to take on the Iowa State Cyclones in the Texas Bowl.

Iowa State, representing the Big 12, lost three games this season by a combined 13 points. Their biggest margin of loss was 10 points to Iowa in Week 2 of the college football season.

This is a well-coached, hungry team that’s been right there in most of their matchups this season. Head Coach Matt Campbell has been one of the hottest names in college football and has built a winning culture in Ames.

Sound like anyone you know? Maybe Razorbacks head coach Sam Pittman? Two great football minds who have been doing things the right way.

Cylcones quarterback Brock Purdy and Arkansas quarterback KJ Jefferson would surely put on a showcase that only dual quarterbacks can.

Through 10 games this season, Purdy has thrown for 2,441 yards and rushed for 273 yards. He has 16 total touchdowns on the season.

Meanwhile Jefferson has slung the ball for 1,990 yards and picked up 447 rushing yards. Jefferson has totaled 22 touchdowns on the season.
