Arkansas football vs Iowa, Outback Bowl

Another Arkansas bowl game projection comes from 24/7 Sports. This Hogs bowl game projection would see Arkansas taking on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

If this matchup comes to fruition, it would be the first meeting between the Razorbacks and the Hawkeyes since 1925, according to Winsipedia.

The Iowa Hawkeyes would be another really intriguing matchup for the Hogs. The Hawkeyes were ranked as high as No. 2 in the AP Top 25 rankings this season. The Hawkeyes are 12-14 all-time against teams from the SEC, according to Winsipedia.

Iowa has one of the best defenses in all of college football, so the Razorbacks will have their work cut out for them. It would be interesting to see the superb run game of the Hogs against an accomplished defense like Iowa.

Currently, Iowa allows just over 15 points per game and less than 100 total rushing yards per game. We saw something similar against Mississippi State and the Hogs ran all over that defense.

Would the same happen against Iowa? We may be able to answer that question if this bowl projection turns out to be correct.
