October is the beginning of the basketball season for for both the NBA and international leagues and because the Arkansas basketball team has produced some professional talent over the years, we decided to take a look at some of the top performers from the month of October.

We taking a look at former Razorbacks who have been making a big impact for their respective teams so far in the young basketball season.

First up is going to be an international #ProHog who played for the Razorbacks from 2011-2015 under Head Coach Mike Anderson.

No 5. Ky Madden, BC Brno in the Czech Republic (Arkansas basketball player 2011-2015)

Former Razorback Ky Madden is overseas playing for BC Brno in the Czech Republic this season. So far, in the six games he’s played, he’s averaging 15.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

Madden is shooting 43% from the field and logging just over 26 minutes per game, including a couple of starts.

The Lepanto, Ark. native has done a great job of getting to the free throw line this season, making 38 of his 43 attempts.

We’ll be keeping on eye on Madden and seeing if he continues this excellent start to the season.
