One of the biggest and most talked-about is safety Jalen Catalon. Head Coach Sam Pittman revealed after the Auburn game that Catalon has been lost for the remainder of the season due to having shoulder surgery. His surgery took place Oct. 18 and is recovering well, according to Pittman during his weekly press conference.

Offensive lineman Dalton Wagner is not likely to play against Pine Bluff, as he hasn’t played a game since injured his finger in the game against Georgia. Pittman said we can expect to see him in the first game after the Bye Week against Mississippi State.

Tight end Trey Knox has an ankle sprain and is listed as questionable. Defensive lineman Markell Utsey is unlikely to play as well, according to Pittman.

The Arkansas football team hopes to make quick work against the Lions to get their starters off the field as soon as possible to start getting rest and let younger players get valuable reps.
