Baylor is 6-1 this season and ranked No. 20 in the AP Top 25 as of this writing. They beat a ranked Iowa State and a ranked BYU so far this season. The team’s lone loss came on the road at Oklahoma State.

The Athletic projects Arkansas to the Texas Bowl to take on the Iowa State Cyclones. The Razorbacks have only faced Iowa State one time, which took place in 1973. The Hogs won that game 21-19, powered by running back Dickey Morton.
The Cyclones have lost two tough games this season—a rivalry game against a ranked Iowa team and a now-ranked Baylor team.
Iowa State, led by Head Coach Matt Campbell, are well-coached an on the rise. In fact, many media outlets placed Campbell at the top of many wish lists when the Hogs were looking for Chad Morris’ replacement a few years ago.
