No. 2: The Arkansas football team will finish as the best rushing team in the SEC

As of this writing, the Hogs are currently third in the SEC in total rushing yards with 1,701, according to the SEC and their 2021 Team Statistics. Only Tennessee and Florida have more total team rushing yards than the Arkansas football team.

The Hogs are one of only two teams in the SEC with three players who have 300 or more rushing yards. Trelon Smith, KJ Jefferson and Raheim Sanders have been producing big-time for Arkansas. Same goes for Dominique Johnson who has 218 rushing yards this season. If he gets some extra carries against Pine Bluff, he could very well give Arkansas it’s fourth 300+ rusher—a remarkable achievement.

Only 80 rushing yards separate Arkansas and top-rushing team Florida. Ideally, the Hogs will use their game against Pine Bluff to pad some stats and get some players a much needed confidence boost. The Hogs very well may take the top spot after this week’s game.

By season’s end, the Hogs will be cemented as the best rushing team in the SEC.
