No. 2 Arkansas Razorbacks QB KJ Jefferson put the team on his back

The Hogs’ offense was spectacular— heavy on the run and efficient in the air.

Sophomore quarterback KJ Jefferson had perhaps his best game as a Razorback against Ole Miss. The quarterback accounted for six touchdowns in this game: three passing touchdowns and three rushing.

The Mississippi-native was 25 of 35 for 326 yards passing. Jefferson threw three touchdowns and only one interception. He led the team with 20 carries, picking up 85 yards and scoring three touchdowns.

At one point late in the third quarter, Jefferson took off from the 4 yard line leaping through the air with the football extended out to score a touchdown in spectacular fashion.

Additionally, Jefferson’s 35 pass attempts were a career high. The one interception he threw today came on the last play of the second quarter when he threw a Hail Mary of sorts to try and get a score before the end of the half.
