The Arkansas vs Georgia game featured an underdog Razorback team going into the belly of the SEC East beast looking to upset the No. 2 Bulldogs

Arkansas vs Georgia got off to an electric start in the first quarter, with Georgia jumping out to a quick 21-0 lead.

The Razorbacks simply could not get anything going on offense. It didn’t help that they started much of their first quarter drives backed up into their own end zone.

The Hogs ended up with 8 penalties for 51 yards against them in the first half, making it difficult to get any traction against a team that could afford few mistakes. In fact, one of the keys to the game was to minimize the penalties, so it’s no surprise Georgia made them pay for making mental errors.

Arkansas played better in the second half, committing just five penalties and holding Georgia to just 13 points.

QB KJ Jefferson finished the game 8 of 13 on pass attempts for 65 yards. Running back AJ Green finished with 28 rushing yards on six attempts.

Arkansas simply could not get anything going against Georgia’s top-ranked defense.
