Winners

Blake Kern, Senior TE

Blake Kern played huge when stepping in for the injured Hudson Henry. The freshman standout Hudson Henry exited the game early and Blake Kern took advantage of that.

Early in the game Blake took a slang rout over the middle of the field for 24 yards, that also got them within the red zone.

Kern eventually scored his first touchdown as a Razorback on a play that set him up perfectly. The play call was similar to the one called against Ole Miss earlier in the year, when Kern was not ready for the pass.

This time Kern was ready, as they ran a play action play that had Kern acting as a lead blocker through the middle of the line. Franks hit him in the end zone for his first touchdown. One I’m sure he will never forget.

Kern ended the game with an impressive stat line as well. Three receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown. However, kern did more than what the box score will tell you.

Blake Kern showed his ability to block on a lot of run plays. Some of the plays did not come to his side, but he showed great aggression nonetheless.
