The Arkansas Razorback Football team has a very important game this Saturday against the Tennessee Volunteers.
This Saturday, the hogs are taking on the Vols in a matchup that may not be on anyone’s radar. However, it could be a game to watch for as these two teams are looking to end losing streaks.
The Tennessee Volunteers have the same record as the Razorbacks at 2-3. While the Hogs are currently having a successful season, many Volunteer fans are starting to second guess their Head Coach Jeremy Pruitt.
Quick Razorback Volunteer History
The last time these two teams matched up was in 2015. That game saw the hogs win 24-20. However, the Volunteers have more wins in the series with 13 to Arkansas’s five wins.
The game before the last meeting, was in 2011. Many of you hog fans out there may remember this one very well. The final score was 49-7 as the hogs stomped the Vols. This game featured the “Houdini” punt return of Joe Adams, as well as some other huge plays. Tyler Wilson also lead the team to a top five finish, and a Cotton Bowl win over Kansas State.
