The Arkansas Razorbacks recently had two players get some recognition for their play against Ole Miss.

The Arkansas Razorbacks had two players get noticed for their outstanding play this past weekend against Ole Miss. These two players have worked their tail off this season and it looks to be finally paying off.

Grant Morgan-SEC Defensive Player of The Week

Grant Morgan had himself a day against Ole Miss. Even with a metal brace on his arm, he was able to do some crazy things. Grant played a huge role in the hogs win on Saturday. It seemed as if every time a player was over, the announcers we saying his name. Grant finished with an outstanding stat line. How about this: 19 total tackles, one sack, three tackles for loss, two pass deflections, and one interception returned for a touchdown. Oh and also, that pick six sealed the win for the hogs on Saturday.
Hudson Clark-SEC Freshman of The Week

Freshman defensive back Hudson Clark started his journey as a walk on at Arkansas. This Monday, Head coach Sam Pittman declared that come January, Hudson would be on a scholarship. And rightfully so with his outstanding play of late. Against Ole Miss he did the hat trick. Hudson finished the game with three interceptions. While also throwing in five tackles. Hudson has stepped up big while corner back Montaric Brown has been out. The question now is what happens when Brown gets back? The hogs have a good problem on their hands, and it’s having to many good defensive players.
Notable Mention- Jalen Catalon

Jalen Catalon also had a huge game Saturday. He finished with a fumble recovery, a pick six, and nine tackles.

This whole team has stepped up big, but especially the defense. With the young talent the hogs have on their roster, they should be competing at a high level for years to come. Now they have a bye week coming up to get rested and healthy.
