Devin Bush and D’Vone McClure leaving Razorback Football

Just a couple of days after an upsetting loss to the Kentucky Wildcats, Coach Chad Morris and the Arkansas Razorback football team have had a couple of players move on.

It was first reported by Otis Kirk of Hogville on Monday that junior linebacker D’Vone McClure is expected to enter his name into the transfer portal.

In six games with Arkansas this season, McClure tallied eleven tackles, a single pass break up, and a quarter back hurry.

In his Monday evening press conference, Coach Morris noted McClure had not entered the transfer portal, but did say, “I spoke with him yesterday afternoon and late last night. He shared with me I want to step away from football and focus on academics and get a job to help support his family.”

Later into the afternoon, freshman cornerback Devin Bush tweeted an announcement that he is entering the transfer portal.

“After speaking with my parents and coaches, I’ve made the decision to officials enter the transfer portal. Thank you Coach Morris and the staff for all you have done,” Bush stated.

Bush was a four-star cornerback while in high school and signed with the Razorbacks from New Orleans, Louisiana.
