In his Monday press conference, Arkansas basketball head coach, Mike Anderson talked about where the media had the Hogs prior to the turnaround.

Mike Anderson, Arkansas Razorbacks basketball head coach, had plenty to say in his press conference on Monday. One thing, in particular, stood out to me.

His comments on where the media and fans felt the team was just two weeks ago made me think. He opened his press conference talking about the outlook that was held after a couple bad losses.

"“It’s funny because two weeks ago, everybody and some of you guys in here and across the country had us in the cemetery. They had us dead and I remember making a statement that all sickness is not death. They actually had us buried but as I said all sickness is not death.”"

First of all, I’d like to say that is a really sweet quote. It sounds like something someone would have tattooed. As a matter of fact, I might need to make an appointment with my artist for just that.

All jokes aside, he’s right. Fans and the media had the Arkansas Razorbacks pretty much done for the season after those losses to Missouri and Vanderbilt.

Fast-forward to now and after two great weeks of basketball by Mike Anderson’s squad, the tune has changed in relation to this team. Now, we are talking about possibly finishing 3rd in the league and getting a 9 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

All sickness is not death and the Razorbacks were without a doubt ill and like I said at the time, probably in a coma but they have risen. The Razorbacks woke up, to a Z-Pak, and came back with a vengeance. Woo pig!
