As the Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team heads to Florida, I take a look at what the Hogs must do in order to get the win.

For this Arkansas Razorbacks basketball team, a win over 12th ranked Florida on the road would be huge. I did this article earlier on the historical implications for the Razorbacks but what would it take for Arkansas to come out on top?

First of all, it starts on the defensive side of the ball. The Razorbacks will have to have their best defensive effort of the season if they plan on stopping a dominant Gators team.

Arkansas native KeVaughn Allen is a lethal scoring threat for the Gators. He leads the team in points per game with an average of 14 points a match. Allen is also shooting .399 from beyond the arch.

Aside from Allen, Canyon Barry and Devin Robinson both average in the double-digit scoring. Barry is currently at second in scoring with 12.3 ppg and Robinson at third with 11.1 ppg.

The Razorbacks have seen what this Florida team can do when the Gators came to Fayetteville earlier in the season and beat the Hogs on their own court. One thing to note is that Arkansas is playing at a much better level.

Offensively, Arkansas needs to keep doing what they have been doing. The Hogs as of late, have been sharing the ball and creating open space to find the hole. Barford needs to be driving the basket aggressively while Macon, Hannahs, and Beard create a threat on the perimeter.

Arkansas has turned it around after a couple bad losses. This team is by far not the same team that Florida beat earlier in the season and if they continue doing what they have been doing as of late, this could be a closer game than people think. Woo pig.
