The Arkansas Razorbacks Baseball team rank 24th in the top 25 rankings.

After a sweep in a three-game series against Bryant, Arkansas Razorbacks baseball ranks 24th in the top 25. The Hogs remained undefeated at 6-0 after this past series.

As a more casual fan but a former player of baseball, this year’s Arkansas team has me excited. Of course, I am an Arkansas fan no matter what sport but as a casual fan here, I am pretty pumped about where the Diamond Hogs are at.

I have followed them a lot more closely these past two seasons. Last year, of course, was an absolute abomination of a season but this one seems to look like Arkansas is back.

According to the NCAA Baseball rankings, that is, in fact, the case. The Hogs went from an unranked team to pulling off back to back sweeps and getting ranked 24th in the top 25.

Joining Arkansas from the SEC is Florida at number 2, LSU at number 4, South Carolina at 5, Ole Miss at 11, A&M at 15 and Vandy at 17. The Hogs currently only outrank Houston in the new standings.

Arkansas is one of only two teams in the South Eastern Conference that is still undefeated. Ole Miss is the only other team in the league to maintain a perfect record aside from the Razorbacks.

I know I am definitely not alone in the casual Diamon Hog fan camp. Most are fans that will watch when it comes to a tournament or regional, but I have some advice. Watch as much of this team as you can. You won’t be disappointed.
