#ProHogs Update: Jason Peters In His 9th Pro Bowl
Former Arkansas Razorback, Jason Peters gets set to take part in his 9th Pro Bowl.
Jason Peters, who played as a tight end for the Arkansas Razorbacks, is playing in his 9th Pro Bowl. Peters, a Queen City, Texas native, played for the Hogs from 2001 to 2003.
Jason was recruited as a defensive tackle out of high school and spent his freshman year on reserve for the defensive line. For his sophomore year, Peters was moved to tight end, where he would finish his collegiate career.
His sophomore year, Jason only had four catches for 37 yards. His junior year, however, he had 21 catches for 218 yards and four touchdowns. In 2003 he was selected for the second-team All-SEC team. He left after his junior season and entered the 2004 draft.
Peters went into the draft as an offensive tackle due to his blocking in his junior year at Arkansas. Although Sports Illustrated projected him as a 4th rounder, he ultimately went undrafted.
In 2004, the Buffalo Bills picked Peters up as an undrafted rookie free agent but he was cut and re-signed to the practice squad. Later that same year he made the active roster as a tight end but was being coached as an offensive lineman.

He played with the Bills from 2004 to 2008 and went to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2009 where he is now. Peters made every Pro Bowl from 2007 to 2011 and 2013 to 2016. The only one he missed in that time was the 2012 Pro Bowl. That is an extremely impressive accomplishment. Congratulation so the former Hog. Woo pig.
