As important as the season was to program history, the members of the team are what is really amazing. This team could possibly feature more individuals that impacted the game of football than any other college roster and staff. Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson were both players and the team was coached by Arkansas athletic legend, Frank Broyles.
“Before They Were Cowboys” will tell the backstory of Jones and Johnson leading up to them becoming two of the biggest names in the NFL. The duo would go on to take the Dallas Cowboys to back to back Super Bowl wins. Johnson is one of only six coaches in NFL history to get this amazing accomplishment.
