If the opening line for Arkansas vs Florida is any indication of how this game will go, Arkansas is in for another close one.

I think most fans and even media members came to a rude awakening after the Auburn game. That revelation being that Vegas knows something that we don’t.

The opening line for the Arkansas vs Florida matchup is a +3.5 for the Hogs at home. If you’re a Hog fan, you have to be pretty happy with how close Vegas thinks this game will be. My first reaction was, “so you’re telling me there’s a chance?”

The predicted score for this game is 28.9 Florida and 29.8 Arkansas. Remember this is early on, however, it will probably stay within a few points of this for the week barring any major news. So far this season, Arkansas is 3-5 against the spread and Florida is 3-4 against the spread.

This will be the fourth time the Gators have come to Fayetteville. The first time since 2008. Arkansas will be coming off of a much-needed bye week and Florida will be coming off the high from a win over Georgia. The last time Arkansas beat the Gators was in 1982 when hall of fame coach Lou Holtz was coaching the Hogs.
