Grab your pitchforks and torches, it’s time to hunt down Barrett Sallee. 4 days ago, on a show on Bama Sports Radio, Sallee said, “Arkansas is a fraud…”.

If you follow sports and especially college football, you know who Barrett Sallee, lead SEC college football writer for Bleacher Report, is. Most of you are on twitter almost every day saying how stupid he is or how he should apologize for something he says. I honestly think he is second only to Clay Travis for how much fan outrage he gets.

Why are Hog fans tweeting vitriol comments at him this week? Did the bad man say mean things about our Razorbacks? No. He said the truth. Sallee’s quote has been taken, mostly by Arkansas shock jocks and radio personalities, to imply that Barrett is just trash talking Arkansas. He’s not. He is pointing out facts.

Who actually exposed Arkansas?

"“I think Arkansas got exposed as a fraud. They got thoroughly whipped on both lines of scrimage by Alabama. Now look, it’s Alabama, I understand that. That is a hundred percent part of the problem but the only other SEC game we have to go on was Texas A&M and Arkansas’s offensive line looked like they wanted no part of that defensive front either.”"

Where is the lie in this statement? Well, the only thing I disagree with is that Alabama exposed Arkansas. They were exposed two weeks earlier by A&M in a big way. All Bama had to do was pop some popcorn, throw that film on and watch exactly how to decimate the Hogs. It was almost like they went online and got cheat codes for the game in Fayetteville.

Also, take note that Sallee makes clear he understands that it was Alabama, however, he makes it clear that Arkansas wasn’t even close to competing. That is the issue here. Arkansas is supposed to be physical. They’re not. They are supposed to be able to run at will. They can’t. Arkansas isn’t what they are sold to be to fans and other teams in the conference. AKA a Fraud.

The road is long

"Now I know, that one was good too but where is the break for Arkansas? There’s not one. Ole Miss this week, gets after the quarterback. Auburn next week, gets after the quarterback. Bye week and then Florida gets after the quarterback. LSU gets after the quarterback. Hell, even Mississippi state does. Missouri is supposed to but that’s a whole different problem they’re facing there. Arkansas is a fraud. Alabama exposed them. And they are going to make a tailspin down the standings over the next month and a half”"

The season doesn’t get any easier for Arkansas. Every team they face except for Missouri has a decent to a good defensive front. Austin Allen has proven he can perform in the collapsing pocket, seeing as to how he is the 2nd best  in the SEC and the 1st most pressured quarterback in the country.

You can’t be mad when someone says a duck is a duck. Sallee isn’t “hating on your team.” He’s just pointing out the unsavory truth. Woo Pig!
