Prediction: Dallas Cowboys, Round 4, Pick 101

Okay, people, hold your horses (Cowboy puns!). As much as I would like to gaze upon Jonathan Williams in a Dallas Cowboy uniform, there is no guarantee. I am solely a predictor. But if my prediction becomes true, then you can throw your hats in the air, have your rodeos, and scream hallelujah because I must be a genius.

Williams might be the most exciting player for Razorback fans to watch in 2016. His foot injury just before the 2015 football season sat him out for the entire year, so his return in the NFL will be one to check out. With the injury in mind, that is the biggest reason I don’t expect Williams to go before Collins in the draft. Even with the workouts and camps that scouts have gotten to get a glimpse of, an absence in game experience will always push a player down in a projection.

If Williams is chosen by Dallas, he will join former Hog Darren McFadden, making Jerry’s World home to two Arkansas running backs.

Dallas is almost guaranteed to draft a running back at some point in the draft, and it will most likely later. With a 28-year-old McFadden in the last year of his contract, the Cowboys need another guy back there. Williams should still be around in the fourth, so Dallas taking advantage of the bargain to fill their gaping hole is a great possibility.
