The Arkansas Razorbacks put together a complete game, and get that elusive second road win of the year, beating the Tennessee Volunteers by a final score of 75-65. Dusty Hannahs lead the way for the Razorbacks in scoring with 17 points.
Boy, did the Razorbacks need this road victory tonight. The Razorbacks played with a sense of urgency tonight, and controlled the game from start to finish. The win improves the Razorbacks’ record to 15-14 overall and 8-7 in SEC play, and gives the team more confidence as they close out the season heading towards the SEC Tournament in Nashville.
Guards Dusty Hannahs and Anthlon Bell started the game with hot hands, and kept those hot hands going throughout the game. Combined, Hannahs and Bell with 9 of 17 from the field, including shooting 7 of 10 from behind the 3 point line.

Moses Kingsley had a great defensive showing tonight as well, snatching 8 rebounds and block 4 shots as well. Offensively, Kingsley was slowed, but came up in the clutch when he was needed, scoring 9 points and 4 assists. The Razorback bench, which has been subject to some criticism, did well tonight. Anton Beard added 10 points, Jimmy Whitt and Manuale Watkins both scored 6 points, and Trey Thompson scored 5 points.
Three point shooting proved to be the difference for the Razorbacks, as the Razorbacks shot 9 of 19 from the field, whereas Tennessee shot a measly 4 of 21 from the field. Obviously, the Razorbacks’ three point shooting has always been the focal point for the Razorbacks this season, and it was no different tonight. Defensively, the Razorbacks forced 11 turnovers.
Players of the Game
Dusty Hannahs: Tonight, he proved that he was one of the best shooters in the SEC. 4 of 6 from the field, and 3 of 4 from behind the arc. Quality numbers from the trash-talking sharp shooter.
Anthlon Bell: Tonight, Bell proved he’s right behind Hannahs as one of the best shooters in the SEC. The senior shot 5 of 11 from the field, and 4 of 6 from behind the arc.
The Bench: The Razorbacks do a have bench presence! The bench scored 27 points, and gave the Razorbacks a much needed lift. Hey, lets keep this thing going!

The Razorbacks will stay on the road and take on the Alabama Crimson Tide. Tipoff is set for 8pm. Can the Hogs win two straight on the road? Getting two road wins will do a lot for the teams confidence as we march toward to the SEC Tournament. It’s a goodnight to be a Razorback!
