The Arkansas Razorbacks returned to the road against the Missouri Tigers and dominated, 94-61. It was apparent early on that the Hogs came to play and their offensive hot hand was still on fire. It’s their third win in a row to move to 3-1 in the SEC, 9-7 overall.

Oh boy. What a display the Hogs put on last night. Seriously, this team is hot and it’s not crazy to say that they might be the best 3-point shooting team in the country. As a whole, the team shot 63 percent from the field, 53 percent from beyond the arc and 80 percent from free-throws. Going into this game, many people thought that the Hogs could win but no one expected the dominance the Hogs put on the Tigers. They shot at will and seemed to make everything. The Tigers were able to bring the game within single digits but it didn’t take long for the Razorbacks to turn up the heat. Mizzou was ice cold from the field, shooting 38 percent and the Hogs forced 14 turnovers leading to easy baskets, or for Dusty Hannahs, easy threes. The Hogs actually look promising, the season is long but they are playing so fluid, sharing the rock and look like a much more comfortable team at the moment.

Players of the Game

Moses Kingsley-

It’s official. Kingsley is a freak. Just look at his stat line last night, 24 points (8-8 FG, 8-10 FT), 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 blocks, and 2 steals. Kingsley asserted himself with four blocks, but who knows how many other shots he altered. The Tigers had no answer for him in the post and fouling him brings no relief. He ranks in the top ten in three major categories in the SEC. First in blocks, third in rebounds, eighth in points per game. He’s also 11th in field goal percentage. Without Kinglsey, there is no Hogs team this year.

  • Dusty Hannahs- This boy can shoot. He scored 20 points on 8-10 from the field, including 4-5 from three. Every time he put the ball in the air, I expected it to go in. He has found his groove and along with Anthlon Bell, are arguably the best 3 shooting duo in the country. He only helps increase the depth of the Hogs, giving Mike Anderson confidence in mixing and matching first and second team players. If he can keep this going, the Razorbacks have a serious shot to do some damage in the SEC.
  • Jimmy Whitt- Returning back to his home state, Whitt showed off, scoring a career-high 15 points on 7-11 shooting. It’s been a few games since Whitt has made any sort of impact but tonight marks his 6th double-digit scoring game. It was a nice surprise and a small flash of what is possible for the true freshman. It will be fun to watch him develop into a better player.

The Arkansas Razorbacks will travel to LSU for a face off with the best player in the country, Ben Simmons, at 7:30 on the SEC Network. The Hogs have no one that can match up with him, but neither does anyone. LSU will be the best test for the Hogs since losing to Texas A&M.

    Woo Pig.
