Alabama is heading to the college football playoffs, thanks in large part to Arkansas and the “Henry Heave” or “Swine Intervention” or what ever you want to call the play, that saw Arkansas convert a 4th and 25. The Hogs went on to beat Ole Miss in exciting fashion 53-52 in overtime.

That loss took Ole Miss out of the driver’s seat, and allowed Alabama to gain first place in the SEC West. The Tide then went on to smash Florida in the SEC championship game, and give them their birth in the college football playoff. One brewery in Tuscaloosa is thanking the Hogs in their own way.

The folks over at Druid City Brewing painted the mural that has Coach Bielema as Santa himself, with a gift to Alabama with the final score of the Ole Miss and Arkansas game painted on the scoreboard behind him. So, while Arkansas and Alabama maybe conference foes, on that November day. Everyone Tide fan was a Razorback, for at least one day.

Now, with that said, they did take a little pot shot at Coach B, calling him “Father ‘Bert’-mass.” For those unfamiliar with the term, “Bert” is a nickname given to Bielema from various media members and fans on the internet. Depending on the how the season is going, “Bert” is usually used as a term of endearment. Which is what is probably happening here, after all, “Father ‘Bert-mass” is making his list and checking it twice after all.
