Arkansas Razorbacks SG Dusty Hannahs Breaks World Record for 3 Pointers
By Cory Thone
Let’s hope we can see accuracy like this during a game time situation!
Arkansas Razorbacks transfer point guard Dusty Hannahs is apparently a dynamite three point shooter. How good is he? Well apparently he just broke a world record. If you want to see the full video, click here. Hannahs hits 27 three pointers in :60 seconds!
The Razorbacks will be looking to Hannahs this season for some leadership and scoring. The Hogs have lost all 5 starters and their 6th man off of last years NCAA tournament team. Hannahs, along with Anthlon Bell and true freshman Jimmy Whitt, are all potential team leaders in scoring this year for Arkansas.
Hannahs is a Little Rock native, but chose to attend Texas Tech university. He had some big playmaker moments in Lubbock, but never really got into a groove. He sat out last year after transferring, and is probably itching to get back on the court.

The 2016 season looks like it might be shaping up to be a rough one for Coach Anderson. There are lots of question marks for this Razorbacks team, particularly in depth and scoring. But, defensively, this team should be pretty solid. Arkansas runs a very tight man to man, and likes to stay in a full court pressure defense. Arkansas has some athletic players that can contribute in a Mike Anderson system, but they’re looking to replace all the leading scorers from last years team.
If Hannahs can continue to shoot like this, then maybe the Hogs season won’t be as harsh as some are predicting. This is certainly the kind of positive buzz that Mike Anderson is looking to generate for his young team.
