Bielema Admits he Hates Auburn
Arkansas Razorback head coach Bret Bielema has never been afraid to speak his mind. He also has never been afraid to pander to his fanbase. While at Wisconsin, Bielema would take to twitter and engage with Buckeye fans who were tweeting at him, much to the pleasure of Wisconsin fans. It didn’t take long for Bielema to figure out that Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn is a polarizing figure in the state of Arkansas, and to use that as a lightning rod to rev up the fan base.
So it should come as no surprise when Bielema made his thoughts known about Auburn this past week at the Razorback Football Kickoff dinner. (Editor’s note: Bret’s feelings directly mirror my own.) As ArkansasFight points out, there have been several incidents between the two schools that fan the flames of the feud between the two schools and coaches, at least in the media. The most famous of which was when a sniper showed up at Fayetteville last year.
Pander away, Bret. Pander away.
“Separated at Birth” returns on Hogville
Hogville is the largest Arkansas Razorback message board, and has a reputation around the conference for being a little crazy. I don’t think they would argue that their craziness doesn’t exist, either. But between arguing about anything and over-analyzing everything, the users have brought back probably my favorite thing that Hogville does: The Separated at Birth thread. They look at the profile pictures of the roster and staff of the Razorback’s next opponent, and find similarities with other famous people or things.
When you describe it like that, yes, it kind of sounds like online bullying, but trust me when you go there and look at it you’ll see it’s all in good fun.
See? All in good fun.

The situation has changed. Agim has bumped his commitment time up to 2:00 PM instead of 9:30 AM. What does it mean? Again, I have no idea. But many experts think that he is committing to the Hogs, while a many other experts think he’s Texas bound for Baylor or A&M. Still others say Ole Miss.
Clearly no one knows anything.
What we do know is that Agim is a beast and a half. You can watch his highlights here. Take note of him catching a running back 45 yards down the field.
Home Game Tickets
The Arkansas Razorback home game list for the next 2 seasons was released on Twitter this week. The post was encouraging fans to hop on board the season ticket holder train now, because they might not be available in the next few years. The home games are certainly impressive for the upcoming seasons.
The Great Dane is Mobile
Finally, Coach Bielema would like for fans to be on the lookout for Hjalte Froholdt and his new scooter.
The 6’4, 299 pound freshman from Denmark is expected to see playing time in the UTEP game on the defensive line.
Also, while “The Great Dane” has become his unofficial nickname on the hill, I would like to submit “Hamlet” instead. Get it? Hogs…Ham…Hamlet, the famous star of the Shakespearean tragedy of the same name?
…whatever, I think it’s clever.
