It’s almost time for football’s National Signing Period and the Hogs have many lined up for the 2015 class. One of those is 4-star recruit K.J. Hill.

Hill is a wide receiver from North Little Rock, Arkansas and he stands at 6’0 tall and 190 pounds. He runs a 4.44 second 40-yard dash and has a vertical of 35 inches, according to Rivals.com.

The 4-star recruit is the #1 overall prospect out of Arkansas and is ranked 153rd nationally by Rivals.com and 148th by 247 Sports. He’s been rated the 17th best receiver by Rivals.com and 13th best by 247 Sports.

In 2013, he caught 63 passes for 1,143 yards and 16 touchdowns. During his recent senior season in 2014, Hill caught 65 passes for 1,095 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also rushed 54 times for 385 yards and 7 touchdowns. North Little Rock also experimented with kickoff return, where he got 4 touches for 199 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Razorbacks lacked a serious downfield threat in 2014 and K.J. Hill could be the answer. Even as a freshman, Hill could make an immediate impact for the Hogs. Keon Hatcher, the team’s leading receiver, is returning for his senior season, but Arkansas’ next two in catches came from the tight end position. Freshman Jared Cornelius made strides at receiver, but is more dangerous at punt returning. The expectations are high for the young talent, but he could be our best prospect since Joe Adams, Jarius Wright and Greg Childs.
