Baylor’s Brittney Griner became women’s college basketball fifth three-time first team All-American on Tuesday. Griner, six-foot eight-inches, averaged 23.4 points, 9.4 rebounds and 5.2 blocks during the 2012-2013 on her way to receiving the most votes.
The other women to earn three or more first-team All-American honors include Tennessee’s Chamique Holdsclaw, Duke’s Alana Beard, Oklahoma’s Courtney Paris and Connecticut’s Maya Moore.
Grinner and Odyssey Sims became just the six teammates to be named first-team All-Americans after Tennessee accomplished the feat once and Connecticut four times.
