Fayetteville, Ark. – Arkansas Razorback senior linebacker Terrell Williams has been suspended indefinitely per reports from NBC Sports by interim head coach John L. Smith.

Williams was arrested for a DUI on Sunday by Fayetteville police. He was booked into Washington County Detention Center at 4:07 a.m. per reports.

The Razorbacks recently promoted Williams to a starter after season ending injuries to Tank Wright, Alonzo Highsmith, and Kiero Small.

Williams, from Tulsa Union High School, entered the 2012 college football season listed at 6’3”, 232 pounds. He had earned two school letters and was a standout on special teams in 2011 totaling a team-high nine tackles.

Defensive coordinator Paul Haynes will miss Williams experience on the field. He was fourth on the team with 52 total tackles with 2.5 tackles for a loss and 1 sack. Now the Razorbacks will face No. 8 South Carolina, per BCS rankings, on the road with true freshman Otha Peters (Covington, La) filling in for Williams.
