Arkansas Football: Dominique Alexander Rethinks Pledge to Hogs
By Ryan Wright
Fayetteville, Ark. – The University of Arkansas football team had secured their ninth verbal recruit for their 2013 class when Dominique Alexander committed to the Razorbacks in June but now he seems to be rethinking his commitment to the Hogs.
Alexander was another sleeper prospect the Hogs jumped on early. Neither Scout.com nor Rivals.com had Alexander rated at the time he accepted the offer. Now Alexander is considered a 3-Star recruit by Scout.com and appears to be leaning towards staying in-state after being offered by Oklahoma and after Alexander let it be known he is no longer officially committed to Arkansas.
The Booker T. Washington prep wide receiver-athlete is listed at 6’1”, 190 pounds and plays on defense for his high school team.
Several schools have offered Alexander a scholarship including Arkansas State, Houston, Utah State, Texas Tech, New Mexico, Indiana, and Louisiana Monroe.
